Thanks for a Great Record Breaking Year!

UrbaCity Challenge wrapped up on Sunday afternoon as one of the best years so far. We would like to say a huge thanks to everyone, the many volunteers and racers, that made the UrbaCity Challenge 2016 such a success! This year $50,100 was raised for the Island Prostate Center breaking last years record of $50,081.95. We are so incredibly proud to have been apart of!

We would also like to thank our amazing volunteers Matt, Angelica and Amy, without them we would not have been able to participate for a fifth year at UrbaCity.

Here are some pictures from our challenge station at UrbaCity where we had racers try riding the Ninebot MiniPRO for the very first time.

We were very excited to see a lot of first time racers this year as well of lots of returning racers some who have been participating since year one. Everyone enjoyed our Segway stations, especially demoing the Ninebot MiniPRO.

We are already getting ready for another fantastic year at UrbaCity. We’re working on developing ideas to keep our station fresh and interesting for returning racers as well as first timers. If you participated this year we hope we will see you back. If you’ve never done UrbaCity we strongly recommend you give it a go! It’s for a great cause and you’ll have fun seeing Victoria in a whole new way!
